Oh The Pain! Go Away Protruding Hemorrhoids!

Extreme pain, extreme itching, extreme everything!

Your butt hurts.  you can’t sit.  You can’t stand.  All you think about is the pain!

Protruding hemorrhoids are the most painful form and there is no question about that.

How can I make the pain go away?

This is always the first question.  Mainly because the pain is so intense that suffers can’t think anything else.

Warm baths, creams and ointments are very helpful to provide relief.

There are a number of places on the Internet where you can find information on the relief of hemorrhoids.  It will be well worth your time to look around.

Will I need surgery?

Protruding hemorrhoids can go away on their own; sometimes.  If after a couple weeks they are still present, then you may require surgery.

What are the types of surgery?

  • Injection
  • Cauterization
  • Banding
  • Stapling
  • Laser

Banding with a rubber band is the cheapest, but the most painful.  Pain usually goes away after 48 hours.

How can I prevent it from happening again?

Changing your habits is number one.  Soften your stools by drinking lots of water.  Eat more fiber and avoid straining while on the toilet.

Taking stool softeners will also help.

There is relief available from hemorrhoids.  I know it’s an embarrassing condition and not something you want everyone to know about.

Looking around the Internet can keep you anonymous and your secret safe.  You not only want the relief, you need the relief so you can get on with your life!
